Check out this awesome event hosted by Housing First Community Coalition - HFCC! The Big Give 2022!

Housing First Community Coalition (HFCC, Inc.) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization in San Antonio, Texas. With a broad array of partners, they are developing a housing community, called Towne Twin Village, for seniors experiencing chronic homelessness.

This year, The Big Give, is looking for support toward the laundry facility at Towne Twin Village! Towne Twin Village residents have been experiencing homelessness for a long time. They are over 50 years of age. They live with a disability. They live on a fixed income or less. And, they often face many additional challenges that make the tasks of daily living difficult.

Having a laundry facility on-site, free of charge to residents, takes away the burden of carrying heavy loads of laundry to a bus stop, to the laundromat, paying a significant amount, and making the return trip. A laundry facility on-site gives them back their time and energy, so they can focus on adjusting to their life in a new home and focus on healing.

It is with great sadness and extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Gerald Dubinski.

Gerald passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, November 26th, 2020. He was loved and cherished by all. We will miss him forever.
