Here is a weekend DYI warrior plumbing tip from Schnabel's. Don't wait till late Sunday afternoon to start your project.
While we have a lot of your plumbing needs in stock, and you can find us to help, there are times you need a part we do not have. So start your project Saturday morning just in case as all the other local plumbing supply stores close at 2 on Saturday.
Unless of course you like aimlessly roaming the big box on your own on a Sunday evening with the water turned off at home or flowing like a river... 🙃🙂

On floor costumer service, register sales, stocking, cleaning, assisting with DIY questions, truck delivery unloading, stocking.

Can be PT or FT but must work Saturday, flexible with week days. Typically set schedule. No evening work required as store closes at 5:30.

Must be able to lift 50lbs. Assist costumers with loading.

Knowledge of home repair projects, garden / plantings help full. Strong costumer service and organizational skills required.

More responsibility and compensation available for qualified individuals.

Elaine guessed correctly, the movie that featured Schnabel's Hardware...."Bill on his own"

You can watch the scene on YouTube. The store is in the starting credits. As the movie begins Mickey Rooney "Bill" is dropped off at the store... but that scene is actually filmed in Houston. The prop set folks moved the sign to Houston for that scene. However when Bill steps inside he is actually in Schnabel's here on McCullough.
