Today has been eventful for Metal Mania Art in more ways than one. I have received a preliminary invitation to participate in an “ invitation only” event, no applications accepted. I’ll update with more details when the invitation is officially offered and accepted.

As always, I appreciate your time and interest in this thing I do. Thanks for following, sharing and commenting here.

Day one of the Kentuck Festival is in the books and I’m looking forward to an amazing second day as well! Thank you to everyone who purchased art today and to the many others who graced my booth with their presence.

A big shoutout to the Kentuck staff and volunteers! You go above and beyond to ensure that the artists are well cared for and that festival goers have a great experience!

And thank you Tuscaloosa for turning out to support the artists and the festival. Y’all are awesome‼️

All set up at the 55th Kentuck Festival of the Arts and looking forward to a great weekend.

Fantastic Festival Saturday! Much needed day of rest Sunday. But it’s back to work in the shop tonight because the Kentuck Festival of the Arts is just 12 days away! This festival is the #6 rated festival in the USA by Sunshine Artists Magazine. Very excited to say the least that I have been invited back for the 3rd year in a row!

I’m looking forward to renewing past friendships and starting new ones. Thanks again for taking your valuable time to visit my page! You are greatly appreciated.

Thank you to all who took time to stroll by and visit with Metal Mania Art Saturday! Your patronage and support enabled us to have yet another great Robins Street Art Stroll. And as always, the festival committee volunteers did a fantastic job. Thank you.

After much consideration of the feedback we received, volunteer availability, other events taking place this weekend, and the operational and logistical factors involved in making the Stroll happen, we have determined that moving indoors and keeping the date is the best option available for this year’s event.

We’re excited that the majority of our artists and other vendors have confirmed they’ll be joining us, and we look forward to bringing the same creative spirit and community atmosphere of the Robins Street Art Stroll to our alternate location this year!

While the location may look a little different, you can still expect a wonderful day celebrating art, creativity, and our community.

Over time I have acquired many different types of pliers. I used a couple of them to make this piece yesterday. This is a new piece that I’ve never made before.

Made this for a young lady last week. This is becoming a much requested piece.

Mrs. Metal Mania Art gave me the idea and told me these would be very popular. As usual, she was right!

What a demanding spring and summer! So many different circumstances have kept me out of my welding shop and away from creating welded metal sculptures and figurines. But I have just recently been able to return to my welding.

I was entrusted with an old vintage revolver. I was asked to see if I could make a trike motorcycle with it. Happy to say that the gentleman was pleased with my effort.
