A Little Silver Service® Magic - A heart-warming story about our Salt Lake City Construction Branch
"I wanted to share a quick story that perfectly captures what Silver Service® looks like in real life — and also proves that our branches can successfully execute a rescue mission worthy of Pixar.
My 15‑month‑old grand‑niece left her beloved Buzz Lightyear stuffed toy behind at a hotel in Lehi, UT while visiting the Salt Lake area. From Las Vegas, I reached out to the SLC branch, and what happened next was honestly heart‑melting (and a little bit heroic).
Lyric took my call and jumped into action.
Jared coordinated the mission with impressive efficiency.
Garrett personally retrieved Buzz from the hotel (to infinity and beyond!).
Sean ensured Buzz was safely received and accounted for.
And Eric arranged for Buzz to hitch a ride to Las Vegas with the next UPS stock shipment.
Thanks to their teamwork, Buzz Lightyear made it safely home — and my grand‑niece’s world has been restored to order.
This may seem small, but it’s exactly what Silver Service® is all about: people taking care of people, even across branches and state lines. I’m grateful to work for a company where this type of kindness isn’t the exception — it’s the standard.
