Port Neal Welding Company

Thanks for stopping by, Kolby DeWitt!

I was grateful to join Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig for his tour of Port Neal Welding Company recently. Like the article states, "locally owned businesses contribute to rural economies by creating jobs, serving nearby industries, and providing specialized services that may not be readily available elsewhere."

I'd never decline a tour of the business Dan Lee has built because I get a kick out of the different problems brought into the shop, and the solutions he and the team come up with! Specialized businesses like Port Neal Welding are a treasure, and make up the rich tapestry of Iowa ingenuity. Thanks for covering visits like these, Sergeant Bluff Advocate Newspaper!
