I got up early this morning because I wanted to make these kids a good egg and cheese sandwich on their last day of high school. I wanted to treat the last day like the first day. Music was playing, stove was going, everybody was waking up and coming downstairs one by one. Then I took that picture on the stairs… the last day of school picture.
Man, what a feeling.
Years go by so fast. One minute you’re walking them into school for the first time, and before you know it, it’s their last morning as high school kids. I’m so proud of the people they’ve become.
This morning wasn’t really about breakfast. It was about making one more memory they’ll hopefully never forget. ❤️
