Do you know our origin story? π
With ties to both manufacturing and agriculture, Roy Applequist, Great Plains' founder, traveled through the farmlands of Kansas, visiting with over 100 farmers in the 70s. It all started with an idea to build a better 13' end-wheel drill, but after listening to the farmers, they wanted a 30' full-press drill that offered high capacity, excellent field flexibility, and could be folded quickly for transport. This led to the first 30' folding drill that could be transported down the road full of seed. This product was the start of Great Plains Manufacturing.
Looking forward, 50 years later, we're still carrying on that legacy. π
