BFR Metals will be closed for Labor Day, September 7th. We will be open Tuesday September 8th at our regular hours.

The steel market is off this month.

The Copper and Aluminum Markets are still very strong. It is a good time to turn those old copper, brass and aluminum filled buckets into money in your pocket. Copper has been flirting with another all time high.

Be safe in your travels, remember the sun is tough this time of year and we will see you Tuesday September 8th.

BFR Metals will be closed on Saturday, July 4th, for the Declaration of Independence Day. We hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys the various festivities about the State.

Be safe in your travels, your personal fireworks shows and be mindful of the sun. It seems we have a roasted employee or customer every year.

We will be closed Monday May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. We will resume regular hours on Tuesday May 26th.

The junkyard dog says we will be open regular hours on New Year’s Eve. 8-11:30 and 1:00-4:30. Put those college kids hanging around on break to work and send them in for some party cash!

Be safe celebrating the incoming year, we still would like to see you in 2026!

In that light, we will be closed New Years Day. We suspect some of our staff might be a little weak bringing in 2026.

BFR Metals will be closing Christmas Eve at 11:00 AM and will be closed Christmas Day. We will be back to work on Friday the 26th!

Be safe in your travels, enjoy the season and the warmth of family and friends.

If your young ones are bored, have them clean up your loose metal and send them in Friday! Hey! We might as well take advantage of that free labor! It's not really free, we have plenty invested in them.

We will be open regular hours on Friday and Saturday.

This is a big switch from years past, we traditionally took the weekend off.

BFR Metals will be closed Monday September 1st for the Labor Day Holiday. Be a shame to have to work on Labor Day! Actually, some of us would like to work for the pay, but it takes a whole crew to run the place.

BFR Metals will be closed Friday July 4th in observance of Independence Day. It is tempting to close July 5th, but we will be here on that fine Saturday. Enjoy the day with your friends and families, remember to be safe and see us all after the big celebration, still sporting all of your fingers and thumbs.

He a great holiday! Remember that this was a declaration of Independence from the laws and taxation of King George III. He had an attitude adjustment coming and we gave it to him!
