On Sunday December 31st Little Lost Creek Alpaca Farm will be closing our doors to the public. It's time for us to truly retire. The alpacas have all found wonderful homes, and said they've had a great run. So have we, with 4-H, craft shows, farmers markets, weddings, birthday parties, and spotlighted on Fox News.

Thank you all for all of your support over 13 year! It is bittersweet to be calling it a day, but it has been the endeavour that sweetened our early retiremen. It's time to say Adieu.

The best to all of our followers. Wishing you all peace, good health, and love in the New Year.

We’re OPEN!!!

Beginning June 20, Little Lost Creek will open its doors to the public with prior scheduling. If you would like to visit the farm, please call ahead to arrange a time. We are limiting the number of customers at any given time. Masks and social distancing will be in effect. We will provide hand sanitizer.

To celebrate our re-opening, we will be offering a 15% discount on all items in our store and we will be offering a new activity–walking an alpaca.

Get up close and personal with an alpaca.
Choose your favorite alpaca. We will halter him and you can walk him for 15 minutes and then reward him with a snack.
Take home an alpaca finger puppet as a memento of your visit.
$20 per person.

2019 PA Farm Show. Our 4-H kids competed in Agility, Showmanship, and of course goofy Dress Your Alpaca! King Arthur made the spotlight again!

The alpacas say "Enough already! We're headed to the Caribbean." No sunscreen needed as our fiber is already about 3" long. We'll send postcards!

After trail clean up along the Schuylkill River Trail. Our 4-H Alpacateers have adopted a section of the trail for two years. Chester was camera shy this day. Unusual for him.

This past Wednesday LLCAF had 11 kindergartners from United Friends School in Quakertown visit the farm for a fun, and academic, morning learning about fiber. They met all of the fiber animals, and came inside for a weaving and drop spindle demos, had a chance to feel the different alpaca, goat, and sheep fibers. A fun day for all of us!

For those latent artists out there or for those of you who want to try something new, come join us for an hour or two of sketching. The farm offers a multitude of unique subjects such as sheep, goats, alpacas, dogs, flowers (later on), trees, farm equipment, buildings – whatever strikes your fancy.

CAPTION As you can see by this sketch, you don't have to be a professional artist to join our group.
No experience is necessary and there is no charge. Just show up with a sketch book and some sharp pencils.

We are planning to start on the fourth Sunday of the month from 2-4 beginning March 25th. We will continue doing it every fourth Sunday as long as there is interest.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

What a weekend at the 4-H Fair. The heat and humidity were brutal, but our Alpacateers shrugged it off and performed well.
