Hungry Opossum
I can always tell who showed up to eat at the food bowl.
Cats will usually leave some food in the bowl.
Opossums usually eat every piece and leave an empty bowl.

Today’s EDC pocket dump.

My EDC kit constantly evolves and changes as I test and review different types of gear.

Fundamentals include phone, wallet, keys, CCW with spare mag, knife, IFAK/stop the bleed kit, and some basic survival items.

Having a basic EDC kit and vehicle kit can keep you prepared to fight and survive through unexpected events when you leave the house.

I’d rather have it and not need it over needing it and not having it even once. Because the day you do need it and do not have it could result in you not needing anything anymore.

Being prepared is not paranoia. It’s like insurance or a fire extinguisher.

Failure to plan is planning to fail and all that stuff.

Charcoal walked out to the survival site after eating while I was out there making product videos.

New camo net installed on one of the modular wall panels out at the survival site.

The survival site has been in operation for a decade and serves as my outdoor classroom and product review video production site as well as a stress management reduction center aka personal campsite.

While it requires maintenance as it is under the constant impact of the seasonal weather,
I keep the costs low using products received and any scrap materials I can find.

It is a blessing to have my personal area outdoors and I am grateful and thankful for it.

Scored a big 13x10 ft outdoor waterproof tarp
so had to throw a quick tarp shelter up.
This thing is like a 5 star hotel version of tarp hootches. You could fit like a whole fire team under this monster.
