Doyle CFD is an engineering design group that uses computational simulation tools to analyze and design products. We specialize in fluid dynamics, structural analysis, animation and rendering. We use Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to analyze and improve the aerodynamic or hydrodynamic forces on designs. We use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to determine the structural reactions to fluid dynamic

and other loads. Our work includes (but is not limited to) improving sail shape and sail plans, determining drag of boat hulls, and optimizing wind and water turbines. We can couple our CFD and FEA models to calculate accurate aerodynamic and hydrodynamic flying shapes. We are able to analyze fabrics, inflatables, laminates, and solids. Our computational expertise results in a much faster turnaround times compared to physical prototyping, allowing a customer to reach their product goals under tight deadlines.
