Recently we made basement beams for a customer, built a front bumper for a race car, and completed some work on a dump truck.

We have completed quite a bit of work for people’s personal use lately. This is one of Bree’s favorites. It’s a swinging bench table with 4 swings. It was built out of all aluminum which is a bit pricey but we can build it out of mild steel to make it a bit more cost effective. Message us if you want a quote.

To get caught back up to speed since we haven’t made a post in quite a while, here is another 10ft.x14ft. floating platform we have constructed back in late May. The platform consist of a 16ft. walkway and a fixed gantry to hold three submersible pumps.

Here is another project we have wrapped up before Memorial Day weekend. We had built a plate for two turbine pumps and a manifold to go with it. We had to offset the pump inlets on the manifold to meet the centerlines on the pumps once installed on site. We would also like to thank J S Dunnigan Truck Line for the long haul to California to deliver the previous dock we had built.

These are some pumps we have worked on in the last few weeks. The blue pump was a previous rebuild from before and we took out the old stack kit that was burned up and put a new one in. The red and black pump was a full rebuild. We didn’t get any pictures of what the pump and motor looked like before the tear down but it was very rough looking. We cleaned everything up very well inside and out, repainted the motor and pump, put in a new stack kit and put it all back together. The very large gray pump is a slurry pump that came out of a quarry from Florida. We had to replace the steel liners and impeller with rubber liners, a rubber impeller and a new barring assembly. Before doing all of this, we went ahead and put a fresh coat of gray epoxy over the exterior pump parts. The little stainless pump had the impeller replaced and a new seal put in.

This is a 20’x24’ floating platform (dock) that we just finished up and will be heading out to California. The platform was built in three sections for easy transportation and is setup with a gantry/chain hoist for installing and removal of the pump. The section that has the roof with the plate underneath is setup for a generator which will power the pump and run the winches on both sides of the platform. The last picture shows the floats that will be under the platform sections (two sections are stacked on top of each other ready for transport).

This is another 8/6 slurry pump that we had to put together. We had to modify the base and motor plate to fit the oversized motor. Also fabbed up a nice belt guard to go with it.

We also had to build these overhead motor bases for some slurry pumps (which are upside-down in the pictures). Mad at ourselves that we didn't get pictures of them completed.

Last week we finished up this skid that has a VFD box bolted to it. We were asked that it would have a roof over it to help protect it from mostly sunlight and rain.

This submersible pump had very little run time on it, but was sent in to be freshened up and to replace a couple of missing parts. After the new parts came in, we were able to put this pump back together looking like new again.

This is another skid we have built, as well as a coupling guard, for a smaller Cornell pump and motor.
