That's a wrap on NRPA! 💦🦖

Anna, Ashlyn, Chip, Chris, Kevin, and Sylvia had an incredible time connecting with parks and recreation professionals from across the country and learning more about your goals for creating aquatic spaces that bring communities together.

This year, AquaWorx brought BIG splash energy with Terry the T-Rex! Our dinosaur-themed waterslide showcased how AquaWorx fiberglass waterslide flumes can be combined with Water Odyssey Fun Forms to transform a traditional waterslide into an immersive, one-of-a-kind attraction.

And for those who stopped by to take a seat in our waterslide display, we hope you enjoyed taking the virtual plunge down an AquaWorx waterslide! 💦 With a rider's-eye GoPro view, attendees got a taste of the twists, turns, and thrills our slides can bring to aquatic destinations.

Beyond the fun, our team also enjoyed talking all things water management and how AquaWorx filtration systems can support splash pads, pools, fountains, lazy rivers, waterslides, and other recreational aquatic environments. ⚙️💦

The Crooked Can Brewery is a communal market and event venue in Central Florida that brings friends, families, and the Minneola community together in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Our Director of Marketing, Sylvia Bucklew, recently had the opportunity to share the story behind the aquatic amenities at the Windsor Cay Resort in the September issue of Aquatics International!

“Planning Waterparks as Community Assets” takes a closer look at how thoughtful planning helped bring this expansive resort waterpark in Clermont, FL, to life. Designed as a central amenity within a vacation-rental community, the waterpark features a dual-flume waterslide, multi-level interactive water play structure, winding lazy river, and dedicated swimming pool. The article explores the planning and collaboration behind the finished project, from integrating AquaWorx and Water Odyssey components into a cohesive play environment to coordinating the filtration, hydraulics, and propulsion systems that keep the waterpark operating behind the scenes.
