Happy 5th work anniversary, Tanya Gerrard!
As George F. Young's Accounts Payable Coordinator, Tanya expertly manages a wide range of responsibilities - from processing vendor and subcontractor invoices, rents, company credit cards, and employee expense reports to assisting with collections for project managers. She also supports the CFO with accounting department projects, such as preparing and distributing 1099 tax forms each year and managing G*Y's fixed asset records. When reflecting on what she values most about working at G*Y, Tanya shared, "The people. I love our accounting team and really everyone I work with. Everyone is always willing to help each other."
Outside the office, Tanya embraces an active and vibrant lifestyle. She loves boating excursions with her husband, Sean, and is energized by group fitness classes at the YMCA. Her competitive spirit shines as she plays pickleball, channeling the same drive and positivity that she brings to her professional role. She also finds relaxation in her bird feeder garden, creating a peaceful spot enjoyed by local wildlife and herself.
