The ACEC Annual Convention and Legislative Summit wraps up this week in Washington, D.C., bringing together engineering leaders from across the country to shape the future of our profession and champion the communities we serve.
This year’s event is especially meaningful for AET, as our CEO, Dan Larson, steps into national leadership as ACEC’s incoming Chair. At a pivotal moment for our industry, Dan is helping drive important conversations on policy, progress, and the path forward—grounded in service, innovation, and lasting impact.
We are proud to have a strong AET presence at the convention, with Kate Marcotte, Brian Arman, Nick Berglund, and Andy Walters actively engaging in discussions that strengthen our industry and advance our mission of Working Together to Build a More Certain World.
Dan, Brian, and Kate also had the honor of accepting an award on behalf of Dr. Jussara Tanesi for her project, Empowering Agencies: Framework for Accepting New Materials in Concrete Pavement Specifications, recognizing her enduring contributions and meaningful impact on the profession.
We leave this week energized by the connections made and conversations sparked, and we are excited to keep this important work moving forward together.
