With school starting up for many students across the nation, Patterson’s Women of the Workforce committee sprang into action, holding a school supplies drive to give kids in need a head start on a successful school year.

Eight different Patterson locations participated and 3,000 items were donated, with a total value of $9,000! Each location donated the school supplies to a local nonprofit, making a direct impact in the communities where our team members live and work.

The will also be donating $4,500 through our “Dollars for Doers” program. Overall this campaign was an A+ effort and a huge success!

Launch has commenced! 🚀🫡 Congratulations to the 145 managers at Patterson who helped us kick off our new “Manager Acceleration Program” this week, and thank you to those team members who applied their time and talents towards bringing the experience to life.

The Manager Acceleration Program was designed to equip new and newly promoted managers with practical knowledge, leadership behaviors, and an ownership mindset, blending human-centered leadership skills with Patterson-specific expectations.

Program designer Hailey Meyer, MBA, ACC, CACP, says what makes this learning experience special, is that it isn’t an “off-the-shelf” solution. “It was built using insights from Patterson leaders and employees, ensuring it is deeply aligned with our values and culture.”

It brings us great joy to know our managers will be well-supported during one of the most rewarding transitions in their careers.

Would you give a stranger the shirt off your back? How about a vital organ?

For our own Patterson Dental sales representative Jessi Kocian, the answer was YES. A man from her Texas hometown was in need of a kidney transplant and running out of time when his wife shared his story on social media, where Jessi encountered it.

Jessi saw the post and felt a powerful tug to become a living donor. In April of this year, a successful surgery left Brandon with Jessi’s kidney, and his transformation has been outstanding. For Jessi, donating a kidney has been one of the most meaningful experiences of her life. She says, “If sharing my story encourages even one person to consider becoming a living donor or helps someone in need feel more hopeful, then it’s something I’m happy to do.”

This incredible story highlights Jessi’s generosity and compassion, and we are grateful to have such a high-character individual as valued member of the Patterson team!

It’s safe to say this year’s Half-Full Cup golf event was above par. In fact, it was a record-breaking success! Thanks to the generosity of Patterson vendor partners, employees, and supporters, more than $270,000 was raised - a milestone which “tees up” the to make new donations to additional nonprofits and create more impact in our communities.

This year’s event welcomed nearly 80 golfers to the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, including Patterson leaders, employees, Patterson Foundation board members, and vendors. The unique setting allows us to build stronger connections that support long-term partnership and collaboration beyond traditional business meetings, and that’s something we’re all FORE. 😉

Every month, our chief people and communications officer Christine Moore hosts “Lunch with Christine,” a chance for the human resources and communication team members based out of our Minnesota headquarters location to step away from their desks for nourishment, connection, and collaboration.
