Here it is.... The moment we've all been waiting for.... What is Cummins NPower up to? Cummins is increasing access to healthy food for all our neighbors in the White Bear Area through a donation of $26,725.04 from the Cummins Foundation.

What started as a simple phone call from John, our food shelf coordinator, asking for help to move shelves and reorganize the warehouse ended in a warehouse designed by Six Sigma Black Belt Katie Roessler that maximizes safety and efficiency complete with a first in first out process, a roomy food sorting station, rolling stairs, fans in the market area and more!

As if that wasn't great enough, Cummins provided new freezers and coolers to triple our capacity to take in and distribute food rescue product that includes additional meat, dairy and produce allowing us to provide healthier choices for our neighbors in need.

But it doesn't stop there! Cummins proudly sponsored our Community Roots garden which has harvested over 400 pounds of fresh veggies for our neighbors this year. The garden sponsorship includes a shed which will allow volunteers to tend to the garden on evenings and weekends when the food shelf is closed.

We are grateful for the support of Cummins and honored to work alongside our volunteers and donors to provide food and support to our neighbors in need.
