Sup Williams Precision Engines was started in 1990.

I started this business with one single goal in mind, and that was to make a living doing what I love the most, and that was building high performance engines. I have been very blessed to have had some great people working with me over the years, and with out them our shop would not be what it is today. Our team atmosphere has enabled us to build engines that have won dozens of track championships

and hundreds of feature events in many different forms of motorsports over the years. This includes Wing & Non Wing Sprint Cars, Dirt Modifieds, & Late Model Circle Track Classes, Bracket Drag Racing, Pull Truck & Tractors, and even Mud Racing.. We take every job we do very personal and expect nothing but success as a end result. Each and every one of the engines we build are tested on our Superflow Dyno to prove their performance and reliability before it leaves our shop. Pretty cool video about the Theobald Family and their pulling operation. Super nice family, happy to be associated with them.
This is what’s kept me so busy lately, and one of the reasons why I haven’t been able to take on any additional work lately.

I would like to officially welcome Jeff Grey to the WPE family. Jeff has a ton of experience working in some very respected engine shops over the years such as DSR's Top Fuel Shop, Schmidt's, and the even the great Bob Glidden. I'm feeling very lucky to have his experience on our team now. For the past few months I basically haven't taken any new work on dealing with my mothers illness and the lack of help in the shop but we are back at it now. I'm still not accepting any new assembly jobs for the time being, but If all your needing is engine machine work done we are now back at it and turning product out in a reasonable time frame. Here is a pretty cool video that NHRA made of Jeff working on one of DSR's Top fuel blocks.

Congratulations from all of us at Williams Precision Engines to the Caudell Brothers for picking up 1st and 2nd place in the annual firecracker 200 at Salem Speedway.

15 years later after our first Firecracker 200 start, we finally got the 🏆. Scott done a great job driving the first 100 laps, and Will was able to seal the deal in the remaining 100 laps. Jeff also led laps and parked it in 2nd place. We never dreamed that we would have the outcome that we did. Special thanks to Race Clean Hand Cleaner, BoGo Racing, Dirt2Media, Cockerham’s Signs, IFI trucking, J&A Auto, Tim’s Body Shop, and Kimmel Racing. Also we are proud to have accomplished this with the U.S. Navy tribute on board. Thanks everyone who helps us on and off the track, Dillon, Cody, Kevin, Keith, Bo, Rick, Stephan, Bobby, and the entire Kimmel crew for jumping in and helping us at the halfway break. Thank you to all of the fans for the continued support, we are looking forward to the remainder of the season at Salem Speedway.

Nothing like the smell of methanol in the morning! Yesterday we were at Williams Precision Engines in St. Paul Indiana for some dyno time. We were looking to flatten the torque curve to make it drivable as possible and also work on fuel economy. Rodger Williams tuned us a very linear torque and fuel curve. Video posted in Comments.
