This is an concept to develop the southwest corner at the Margaret St - 7th Ave intersection in downtown North St. Paul with a small jewel of a building. The ground floor could be retail or office, with the second floor as office or residential space. The building addresses the importance of both the intersection and 7th Ave. The material and forms pay homage to some of the existing buildings along 7th Ave.

New Sandhamn draws its inspiration from an idea of a house at Delaware-17 as a Native Green home, The House at Nature's Edge, an architect friend, and from Åldermansgården, Sandhamn. Åldermansgården is a house in the Stockholm Archipelago which as a family we spent many relaxing long weekends and weeklong vacations during our stay in Sweden. A place that is always in our soul!
