This gate was a one-of-one. That was the plan. But after a winter full of messages, more than I could keep up with and a lot of “no’s”… I decided to carve out time and build a few for those who are serious about owning one.

So here it is, a very limited run to start (mid summer completion). Made the first sale this morning…. So cool!

Each gate is a functional metal art sculpture, built to resemble a dead, broken tree pulled straight from the woods. No two alike.

Details:
• Approx. 8’ tall standing trunk
• 13’–14’ sweeping branch swing gate
• Manual operation only (no motors, no extras)
• Smooth swing on heavy-duty greasable bearings
• Raw steel finish that weathers over time
• Installation instructions + guidance included

These aren’t production pieces. No shortcuts. No add-ons. Just raw steel, time, and a vision.

Serious DM’s only please. Thank you!

Appreciate all the support and kind words, you guys pushed this into motion. We’ll see where it goes from here.

Always up to something… just not always telling you what it is yet.

Be a fly on the wall while I put some finishing touches on these custom aluminum popsicle carts.

Some things get stickers. This ain’t one of them. Riveted metal identification for the local sheriff’s department.

Steel, fire, and a little imagination turned into branches for a Northwoods home.

There’s a Hogwarts kind of magic to winter in the Northwoods.

Winter doesn’t make it easy, but it makes it honest. New garage doors are in on another Northwoods build. I’ll be back once the siding and trim are finished to grab the photos that show the full story.

Trekked across a frozen lake, camera in hand, eyes up, hoping an eagle might give me a closer look. They kept their distance this time, no worthy shots, but that’s how it goes. Still, I found a little solitude and that’s usually enough.

Just wanted to say I appreciate all the feedback, the laughs, and the messages on the driveway gate. This thing wasn’t commissioned or planned out on paper. It was something I built for myself, squeezed in between client work. Somewhere in the sparks and late hours, I stumbled back into my lane and found a passion I’d honestly misplaced for a lot of years. Years of deadlines, expectations, and noise can pull you pretty far from why you started. This one brought me back. I’ve got ideas brewing again, and I’m looking forward to whatever comes next.
