june and july i will be doing winch checkup's/tune ups $50. june and july only after july 30 they go to $75.00 for rest of year.

winch tune ups include full dis assembly and re-connect and gear oil change. and full inspection.

this year i've had a ton of guys struggle with winches with mainly correct starting procedure. this is simplist straight forward explanation on how to start your saw/winch.

remember to disengage winch clutch before starting saw. also make sure to flip saw brake off. some saws are not tuned to start with saw brake engaged.https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1BYLtKwKwe/

another ethanol PSA.

when someone tells me they "run their motor out of fuel so fuel doesn't sit in it all off season I just smh.

this is what happens for those that are not mechanical or lucky enuf to never have to clean a carb due to ethanol.

notice the green gunk. this motor ran but didnt idle great or run to peak performance. i figured it mighta been rotted fuel line. but when i pulled carb the line was fine but was hard gooey sludge under carb bottom (outside of carb) so i took it apart and yep. same stuff inside it. lol. cleaned it up put it back together and runs better than it ever has.

rec fuel only! repeat that over and over and over

PSA i work on a lot of 2stroke stuff throughout the year. so just droppin some advice to help others.

ONLY and i mean ONLY use REC fuel in yer boats and saws

and stop being lazy and buying trufuel from big box stores.

either mix yer own fuel or i will list 2 premix version that i do endorse/support

yes: VP fuels and premix versions.
yes: Stihl premix oil and or fuel/oil versions.

NO: tru fuel

everyone has an opinion and in my opinion one thing i see is a lot of problem saws over the year and i've made the decision that its on the no list

stop buying premium gas and think its ok. its still got ethanol......and still destroys carbs

REC FUEL....NON-Ethanol fuel only. your life will become much simpler.
