Highpoint is looking for a professional Quality Control Inspector with CMM experience (PC-DMIS) and strong inspection skills/knowledge.

Highpoint Tool & Machine produces highly precise machined components and complex assemblies in a modern facility, primarily for the Aerospace and Oil & Gas Industries, and holds ISO9001:2008 and AS9100D quality certifications.

The successful candidate will be a motivated and career minded individual with a strong drive for the quality of his/her performance and the success of the company. The candidate will have several years’ experience in the steel machining industry with a strong knowledge of GD&T, modern inspection techniques, and CMM experience.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct quality control inspections on incoming materials, first part, in-process production, and final.

- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators.

-Program and operate CMM (PC-DMIS).

Experience:

- Previous experience in quality control of precision machined parts.

- Familiarity with quality control processes, procedures, and tools.

-Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.

- Understanding of data collection and analysis techniques for quality control purposes.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify deviations.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on objective evidence
