It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to a longtime employee and friend, Mike Lancaster.
Mike was one of those people who knew everything. From gardening to plumbing and things in between. If you had questions, there was a good chance Mike knew the answer. His knowledge was incredible and his willingness to share made him special.
Mike was funny, down to earth and genuinely kind. Although he hadn’t worked for us the past few years, Mike never stopped being part of the Leonard’s Family. He would still stop by and visit us, catch up with old friends, customers, and people he had grown close to over the years. He was so excited to sit on his porch, grow his hair out, drink a b**r and watch his pig root around in the yard.
Mike made a lasting impression on many of us, both here at Leonard’s and throughout the community. His friendship, his laughter and his advice will be deeply missed.
We are heartbroken to have lost him. I hope there is porch for him in heaven. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and loved ones.
Rest easy Mike. You will be missed more than you know. 🕊️❤️
