With silage chopping right around the corner, it's a good time to check over your silos and unloaders. It's more convenient to make any repairs to the fill pipe, fill hood, or silo doors before the full wagon is sitting at the blower. Check the condition of the suspension and cable, and look at the unloader for worn out or rusted parts. Remember, unloader repairs are easier (and possibly cheaper!) when done at the bottom of the silo, rather than climbing all the way to the top.
