💙 THANKFUL TUESDAY 💙
This week, Abby was nominated for our Thankful Tuesday spotlight!
Abby has been the marketing lady for the Strickland Family of Businesses for a little over a year, working with all three Strickland Ace Hardware locations, the Garden Center, and Royston Rentals & Power Equipment. A few of her fellow employees asked her some questions to learn a little more about her and what she enjoys about her role.
🌿 What is your favorite spot in the entire store to take photos or hang out?
Her favorite spot is the Garden Center, especially around the sun plants and perennials. With all the blooms and butterflies that seem to find their way into her pictures, it’s one of her favorite places to be! 🦋🌸
🔨 Are you more of a DIY enthusiast or a plant lover?
Definitely a DIY enthusiast! She enjoys finding ideas that customers can recreate at home and showing them how they can make something their own.
📱 What is the most rewarding part of sharing our small-town businesses with the online world?
For Abby, it’s seeing customers interact with the content and watching our online community grow. She enjoys being able to share our stores, employees, products, and everything happening across our businesses with the people in our communities.
☕ What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday morning in our community?
Grabbing a coffee from Holiday Coffeehouse and then doing a little thrift shopping at Project Safe. ☕🛍️
💬 What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
“You can do anything you put your mind to.” — advice from her mom that she still carries with her today. ❤️
We’re glad to have Abby as part of the Strickland Family of Businesses and appreciate everything she does to help keep our businesses connected with our customers online!
