Late post, but this CAT haul truck is officially DONE! 💪

This was hands down one of the most challenging jobs I’ve ever tackled. There were plenty of moments that had me scratching my head trying to make everything fit and come together the way it needed to. But seeing the finished product made every long day worth it.

This rebuild got a new 1/2” mild steel floor topped with 1/2” AR400, along with 1/2” AR flat bar over the main floor seam for added protection. Everything was fully welded underneath as well to make sure this bed is built to take a beating.

What makes this one even more rewarding is knowing it was a true one-man show from start to finish—cutting, fitting, grinding, welding, and everything in between.

Walking away from this project, I can honestly say I’m proud of the outcome and satisfied with the quality of work that went into it 🔥👨‍🏭

First week away from work in a long time, and I’ve definitely needed it. To all my customers who have called or messaged me, I promise I’ll get back with everyone Tuesday once im home and settled in. I’m currently away on my honeymoon in Cancún enjoying some much needed time off with my wife. Thank y’all for the patience and continued support! Now it’s almost time to get back after it 💪🤙

Haul truck progress!
By far one of the most challenging jobs I’ve taken on—getting these floor plates to fit flush when the base looked like an ocean was no joke. Spent hours cutting out the old floor while carefully saving the cross members. A ton of work for one man, but the before and after speaks for itself.

CAT Haul Truck Update! One wall is fully completed and welded out. Final wear bars have been cut, fitted, and tacked—ready for final welds. All AR plate has been properly preheated and completed with three-pass welds to ensure durability and longevity.

This has been a one-man operation—handling every step from cutting and fitting to grinding, welding, and maneuvering 3/4” plate.

Next up: finishing the wall and moving on to the floor. Stay tuned for more progress.

Another job done right. CAT 990 bucket repaired over the weekend—34 hours, a full 30lb roll of wire, and zero shortcuts. Back up and running for Monday. That’s the standard, whatever it takes!!
