Glenn Behrens, Owner, grew up in a family of car enthusiasts including everything from motorcycles to go karts. He was born and raised in Round Rock, Texas, and graduated from RRHS in 1980. He was a mechanic for Hester Brother's Automotive from 1976 to 1983. It was this time when he began building racing engines, restoring vintage muscle cars and collecting Mustangs. as State Technical Institute in 1983 with a degree in automotive repair. He was as a Mac Tool salesman until 1987, becoming one of the top performers in the country given his interest and background in the automotive industry. He opened Glenn's Machine in 1989 and has been building custom performance engines ever since. Glenn is well known in the racing community for building engines for some of the top racers in drag racing, including Ed Marrow, Donald Hughes and Billy Bartone. Glenn has access to the rules and regulations for virtually every class of drag racing and can build powerful and consistent engines for any class.
