The 920th Engineer Company is a National Guard engineer unit located in southeastern New Mexico. Most members of the 920th are "Citizen Soldiers" who devote at least one weekend a month and two weeks a year to training for a variety of engineer missions. The 920th draws its membership from across New Mexico and west Texas. Recently, the 920th was activated to assist state and local agencies in responding to winter storm Goliath. The 920th also deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in eastern Afghanistan from 2009 to 2010. Today, the 920th stands ready to assist the local community and the state of New Mexico in responding to emergencies or support military operations overseas. The purpose of this page is to (1) share releasable information with Soldiers in the 920th, (2) inform Soldier Families about ongoing unit activities, (3) inform members of the public about the mission of the New Mexico Army National Guard and show that we are New Mexicans helping New Mexicans.
