We know that meaningful environmental progress comes from the everyday decisions we make as a team. We are continually looking for ways to use energy more efficiently and reduce waste in our operations. 🌍

In our facility, that includes using electric equipment where we can, improving our insulation and HVAC systems, and taking recycling and material reuse seriously in both the office and warehouse. The steps may seem small on their own, but together represent our conscious efforts into improving our sustainability at work.

We’re also proud to be part of the Toledo Rotary Club, which supports efforts to reduce agricultural runoff into the Great Lakes and protect the water our region depends on.

This year, our focus is simple: keep paying attention to our impact and keep looking for better ways to do the work in front of us.

What does it take to truly perfect a hydraulic seal?
You test it! Over and over and over... 🔁

Hänchen developed their own seal test stand not just for customers, but for themselves. As a manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders, they needed a way to evaluate seal combinations under the most realistic conditions possible.

The machine runs 4 independent axes, each with two test chambers, pushing seals through 300 km of continuous operation during a 24‑hour fatigue test cycle. Pressures reach up to 600 bar (8,700 psi), with speeds up to 4 m/s and testing across friction, wear, leakage, and temperature response.
