2022 was a great year for the LP Team, so we started 2023 with a Celebration to kick off the New Year and show our appreciation for our employees. Food, fun and friends was the theme for the night.

Never a dull moment at LP...One of our clients needed a fire flow test to be conducted at one of the current projects on site so that the civil and fire suppression engineers could finish their calculations for submittal. Usually a call needs to be made to a fire protection installing contractor or the fire department to try and arrange for a test to be conducted and typically, it's requested through a 3rd party that needs to relay that information, but LP Consulting Engineers, Inc. has the ability to perform these so our Fire Sprinkler Department Manager, Travis Hayes, grabbed his gear and got the job done.

Our Finance and Business Development Manager, Joy Gillespie, is attending the Deltek ProjectCon Software Convention in preparation for a Vision to VantagePoint upgrade. Exciting things will be happening company wide in 2023.

On Friday we had our annual LP Consulting Engineers vs KPFF Consulting Engineers Tournament where employees competed in Foosball, Darts, Ping Pong and Co****le for trophy's and bragging rights. LP dominated this year!

Disc golf is an up and coming sport that was relatively unknown until COVID hit. One of our employees, Joy Gillespie, handles community outreach for the Folsom Disc Golf Course Board of Directors and works hard to grow the sport and get families involved in outdoor activities. We are proud to foster a sport that brings families together, requires very little money or skill to play and gets people outside into nature.

After a tough year, we were finally able to welcome the entire team back into the office with a Back to Work BBQ. The bbq and smoker duties were handled by Peter Oliver, from our mechanical department and David Soto from our Fire Protection department. As usual, they did an amazing job getting everyone fed.
