Lake Travis Fire Rescue is assisting the State of Texas through a TIFMAS wildland fire activation with Region 8 due to high fire danger. Lt. McAnally, along with Firefighters Blumenstein and O’Bryon, left yesterday to join the strike team in McGregor, TX.

We’re proud of our team for stepping up to support communities across Texas. Please join us in thanking them for their service and dedication.

🔥 Fire safety reminder: With elevated fire danger, and current burn ban in Travis County, avoid outdoor burning, secure trailer chains to prevent sparks, and report smoke or fire immediately by calling 9-1-1.

The Bennett Engineering Services team gathered with families to watch another kind of teamwork recently. The Sacramento River Cats struggled that night, but our own Dave Harden caught a foul ball. The children enjoyed a visit from Dinger the River Cat and the whole group played baseball trivia for raffle prizes. Go team!

Bennett Engineering would like to continue the season of giving by supporting our local Salvation Army Angel Tree Program.
Programs like this fulfill wish lists for children of low-income families in the Sacramento Area. Our amazing staff members Melanie Reynolds, Julie Miner, and Marisa Ringlstetter have graciously facilitated and organized this event.

We are extremely thankful for the amazing outpour of kindness and generosity of our employees!

**Virtual Tour (Video) of the Lincoln Verdera North Tank #3 Construction.**

The City of Lincoln needed additional potable water storage capacity to support the new developments within the City. The tank size (5 million gallons) was chosen based on fire protection and service demands in the City, including projected growth over the next several years. The selection of a concrete tank vs. a steel tank was based primarily on analysis of the cost projected over the life of the tank. This AWWA D110 - Type 1 Pre-stressed concrete tank is nearing completion. This video (virtual tour) was taken during the final stages of construction of the tank while the pre-stressing machine was wrapping the tank.
