✨ Family Feature Friday: Meet Delilah ✨

Recently, Delilah was having a tough day after therapies. When her mom, Shannon, asked how she was feeling, Delilah used her QuickTalker Freestyle to say she felt "sick” and that her head hurt.

Because she could communicate what was wrong, her family realized the storms and weather changes that day had likely triggered a headache.

Before AAC, Shannon says they may have assumed Delilah had simply "woken up on the wrong side of the bed."

Instead, Delilah told them exactly what she needed them to know. 💬

"She's able to show the world that she understands what's happening around her when others doubt her." - Shannon says

Delilah loves Ms. Rachel, trips to the park, and playing tag with her dad. As Shannon says, she may be non-speaking, but she's one of the most outspoken kids you'll ever meet.

We're honored to celebrate Delilah and her family as they continue showing the world that communication comes in many forms. ✨
