We are looking for an experienced and motivated Heavy-Duty Trailer Mechanic to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy-duty trailers. You will play a key role in keeping our new and used trailers safe, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.
Duties include:
Diagnose and repair trailer systems including brakes, suspensions, axles, lighting, and hydraulics.
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on trailers.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Complete repair orders, document work performed and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient turnaround times.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Trailer Mechanic, Truck/Trailer Technician, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, electrical wiring, and suspensions.
Welding and fabrication experience is an asset. (MIg & Tig)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
