Grayson Industrial Test, LLC recently manufactured this Drive Shaft weld inspection machine for a high production supplier. This machine uses Ultrasonic technology to evaluate the weld pe*******on and quality while LASER sensor scans the welds evaluating size and shape. A rotary encoder is tracks position of the defects. Each defect is evaluated for length of defect, and quantity of defects (density) in a given segment length. All data is reported to a plant data gathering system.

Grayson Industrial Test, LLC designed and built this LASER gauge for a Foundry in Saltillo, Mexico. The LASER gauges are sensing the edges of the exposed crank bore bulkheads checking their position and thickness before the casting is shipped off to machining. This machine was integrated in a fully automatic power roller production line.
