Shown above are some photos of our newest flatbbed design, configured for 1988-2024 GM 2500/3500 SRW short-bed pickups. It features front & rear fender boxes, as well as optional deck-top boxes. This allows it to be super modular and fulfill multiple different roles. Oh, and here is the best part: the build plans for this bed are published and available for download on our website! This includes the 60 page .pdf page layout detailing out every cut, component, plate, and assembly of the build. A new 84” chassis-cab flatbed option is here! Shown above are some photos of our new flatbed design, meant to work with any make & model of 84” CA medium-duty truck. This bed is design to allow for maximum storage, without sacrificing deck space. So up front we have two fender boxes and in the rear there is a large full-width recessed deck box. This allows for tons more tool & gear storage under the deck. And as with most of our chassis-cab options, we’ve also added integral gooseneck & rear hitches. If you’re looking for a set up like this before, well you’re in luck! Because we just published the full build plans for it on our website! On top of offering over 100 sets of DIY truck bed build plans, we also offer plans for welding skids too! Here are some photos of the newest addition to our lineup. This skid is purpose build to allow an entire crew to work off of one setup! That’s because the sides can be unbolted into sub-skids, allowing to machines to be ran in separate areas. Supporting these machines, and located in the center of the skid is a 175 gallon auxiliary fuel tank that houses a 40”L X 25”W 18”H tool box in the top of it. The welding skid wings themselves are capable of fitting a machine as big as 64”L X 34”W X 40”H, and can hold up to 6 lead reels apiece. Never before has it been so easy to build a custom flatbed for your truck! That’s because we’ve made it our mission to arm our customers with detailed blueprints, that allow them to build their dream bed without any guess work involved. Shown above is the newest addition to our catalog. This bed is configured to fit a 1999-2024 Ford F-350/F-450 dually pickup. And on top of having a sleek aesthetic, it also has a decent bit of storage space onboard. It also features a 22” wide hauler trough, which houses a B&W gooseneck hitch and is widened to fit a B&W 5-th wheel companion hitch if needed. Building a custom flatbed for your pickup truck has never been easier! That’s because here at Nomad Flatbeds, we offer over 100 sets of downloadable flatbed, utility bed, and welding bed build plans! These plans allow you to fabricate one of our beds without any guess work involved. And shown above is the newest addition to our catalog. Though this bed has a relatively simple construction, it boasts a very sleek look due to it’s angular body lines. It features: two front fender boxes, two rear fender boxes (which are tapered upwards for a better departure angle), a tool drawer in the tail, an integral B&W turnover ball, and a 24 gallon low-profile & removable auxiliary fuel tank. Now what do you get if you choose to download a set of these plans? Well you’ll get: 1) A 55 page .pdf document that details & dimensions every cut, component, plate, bend line, and assembly. This document also contains an integrated cut lists, that makes it real easy to know where and how to cut the tubing components. 2) A .pdf bill of materials that lists the type & quality of all the stock material, plate(s), and hardware needed for the build. 3) A .dxf CNC plasma table/laser cut file containing all of the plate components. On top of offering over 100 sets of DIY truck bed build plans, we also offer plans for welding skids too! Here are some photos of the newest addition to our lineup. This skid is purpose build to turn your flatbed (new or old) into a full-on welding rig! It features tons of onboard storage and can run a variety of different sized machines. In the front, there is a large tool box that hosts four 26”L X 17”W X 5” tool drawers. On top of that is self space for any of your larger equipment. Immediately behind the tool box is a bottle holder, designed to lock in up to 3 full sized oxygen/argon bottles, as well as an acetylene bottle holder behind that. Then we have a 22”W X 60”L welder bay, which can be increased to 32”W if the optional smaller tool box isn’t used. But if you have the space for it, on the very end of the skid there is a 59”L X 10”W X 12”H tool box that is perfect for storing your longer gear, like an umbrella. And all of this sits on a frame that has both forklift & pallet jack pockets, so it can easily be loaded and unloaded from the truck, then dollied around the shop.
