Tate team members often find themselves working in confined spaces during the tank fabrication process. Limited ventilation, difficult entry and exit, exposure to hazardous material, and other factors may pose serious safety risks to workers not adequately trained to navigate such conditions. That's why we take extra safety precautions, including requiring our team members to complete specialized training in our Confined Space Safety Protocol.
This protocol outlines the necessary steps to ensure worker safety, including identifying and evaluating confined spaces, developing appropriate entry permits, providing proper training and equipment, and establishing emergency procedures. Our teams are trained how to effectively communicate and continuously monitor conditions during confined space entries.
The goal of such a program is to prevent accidents and injuries by promoting a safe and controlled approach to working in these types of spaces. Safety is our top priority, we make sure our team is equipped and trusted to do so.
