Whether using RODI water for reef aquariums or RO water to develop your own water profile, an EC/TDS meter is an essential, inexpensive, piece of equipment.

Found out the hard way when buying filtered water. The ice was 40 uS/cm (20 ppm) so thought the water would be the same. CD97 is a low cost option. The MW803 pictured is a pH/EC/TDS tester.
