As we celebrate National Welding Month in April, we want to highlight our local Nash Community College's Basic Welding Processes class that will run Wednesday nights from May 13th-August 5th!

If you are interested in exploring Welding as a career, this is an awesome opportunity to see if it is right for you!! Register NOW!

There’s something rewarding about building with your hands, and welding is a skill that continues to be in demand across industries.

Beginning May 13, Nash Community College is offering Basic Welding Processes, a hands-on course designed to introduce students to ARC, MIG, and TIG welding techniques.

Whether you’re exploring a new trade, building practical skills, or considering a future in welding, this course offers a strong foundation to get started.

The American Institute of Steel Construction presents a Safety Award of Honor to fabricators and erectors with perfect DART records. Companies must submit a copy of their OSHA 300A form for verification. Steel Technology is proud to have received the Safety Award for 2025!

"Avoiding accidents at structural steel fabrication shops and jobsites is not an accident, it's a skill." AISC Senior Director of Engineering Tom Schlafly said. "Skill, safety prioritization, experience, and planning are required to run site and shop operations safely given their busy, fast-paced nature. AISC is proud to recognize companies whose employees worked through 2025 with few or no Days Away, Restricted or Transfer (DART) injuries."

We will be honoring the skilled professionals behind the arc this National Welding Month. We’re proud to shine a light on Guerrero— one of our Fitter/Welders whose career began in Steel Er****on and welding at heights!

🔥13 Years of Craftsmanship
Carlos' journey began when his uncle taught him to weld and then he decided to attend his local community college to take Welding classes and learn more. What started as a spark of interest has led to a career that has spanned over a decade. Surrounded by peers who chose welding as a path, he discovered his own talent and never looked back.

🔥 On how welding shaped his life:
"I like what I do. Welding is a good career that has helped me provide for my family."

🔥 Most memorable project?
Two of Carlos' most memorable projects were the Under Armor Distribution Center in Maryland and a Military Aircraft Hangar.

🔥 Words of advice:
“Welding is a fun job. Every day will be different and you will learn something new."

New Hill Medical Office Building

We are proud to be partnering with Chambliss & Rabil Construction Company, Inc. on this project. We delivered approximately 200 tons of fabricated structural steel to this jobsite and er****on is underway thanks to Brothers STEEL Erectors & Welding LlC.
