Students from the manufacturing and engineering practicum at the Dr. Gene Burton College & Career Academy visited for an inside look at advanced precision manufacturing. They explored diamond turning and learned how Schneider machines are used to create high-performance optical components. Experiences like this help shape the next generation of engineers.
