Read Beyond the Clash with BIM Coordination.
The planchette can point to a problem. The federated model helps reveal what’s behind it.
A clash is one signal. Teams also need to look at the surrounding conditions: ceiling space, supports, insulation, maintenance clearances, equipment removal paths, and the order in which trades can install their systems. A route that appears clear on screen may still be difficult to build or service once the project reaches the field.

Build Prince George’s 2026 brought local businesses and project partners together to discuss opportunities taking shape in Prince George’s County.
At Sandlot at Largo, we connected with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other businesses.
The summit covered opportunities across construction trades, equipment and materials, professional services, facilities, retail, hospitality, and entertainment. Organizers highlighted a potential pipeline of more than $1 billion in opportunities.
