Scrapys is looking for a dedicated and passionate FULL TIME TOW TRUCK DRIVER 40+ hours/week. Hours are Mon-Sat 9AM-5PM.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to the following):

- Routes will include the following counties; Orange/Brevard/Seminole/Osceola/Volusia.
- REQUIRED - Must have a clean driving record and possess a valid Florida driver's license.
- MUST be proficient with cell phones and GPS navigation.
- MUST be able to complete simple reports, communicate effectively, safely operate a motor vehicle
- Willingness to work irregular hours (evenings and weekends.
- 10-12 Hours shifts. 5-6 days a week.
- Experience and knowledge of loading/unloading vehicles, mechanical aptitude and experience is preferred but not required.
- Training to be provided as needed.

SCRAPYS is hiring a full time Torch Operator 40+ hours/week. Hours are Mon-Sat 9AM-5PM. Saturdays not mandatory.

Responsibilities

- Perform essential tasks and demonstrate/apply essential skills with regard to daily performance of duties deigned to be within the scope of employment.
- Physical requirements may include climbing ladders, use of tools, occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs. with assistance and 50 lbs. unaided, walking, sitting, or standing for hours at a time, and working in uncomfortable positions within and underneath vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned.

TORCH OPERATOR
- Pull requested parts as needed
- Park and store salvage/parts vehicles in a safe, organized and accessible manner.
- Use appropriate safety equipment and procedures
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines. Use appropriate safety equipment and stay up to date (request any training needed) on safety rules, plans, and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and that all tools are safe prior to use.

This job may include other duties as assigned within standard business practice which facilitate the productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness of the company and its employees

CAR PARTS DISMANTLER
- Pull requested parts as needed and assist truck drivers in loading them.
- Park and store salvage/parts vehicles in a safe, organized and accessible manner.
- Use appropriate safety equipment and procedures
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines. Use appropriate safety equipment and stay up to date (request any training needed) on safety rules, plans, and protocols.
- Drain all fluids from vehicles in the yard in the manner approved and recommended by Department of Environmental Services. Safely collect, store and dispose of said fluids per Department of Environmental Services requirements.
- Store all removed parts inside the building or storage trailers.
- Perform required duties in accordance with the Employee Handbook and the company’s Safety Plan and Policies & Procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and that all tools are safe prior to use.
- Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading parts and vehicles.

SCRAPYS is hiring a dedicated and passionate full time Tireman-Dismantling Tech 40+ hours/week. Hours are Mon-Sat 9AM-5PM. The primary responsibility of this role is to dismantle wheels.

Essential Job Duties:

- Proficiently use the required equipment for tires such as the balancer, mounting equipment other applicable equipment including maintaining such equipment.

- Ensure equipment is maintained and materials are safely handled.

- Recognize acceptable and defective tires and wheels and mark as appropriate.

- Demonstrate the aptitude to understand the difference between a junk tire and good used tire.

- Abide by the Company Policies such as attendance, safety, processes, teamwork, training, etc.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Background in either body repair, mechanical, or previous dismantling experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Complete set of tools as needed to carry out duties. Must possess the ability to follow instructions and to accept constructive feedback. Must be a self-motivated, hard-working, and dependable person. Must be a safety conscious person. Must possess the ability to be adaptable and willing to perform duties beyond normal duties.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Is subject to intense physical labor, repetitive lifting. Must be able to lift at least 50-75 lbs.
