New post regarding the Hudson DPW garage project. The project entails the demolition of the existing DPW facility, which consists of four buildings, and the construction of a new state-of-the-art facility featuring storage and repair garages, work and tool shops, and office space, according to the project narrative. The building will encompass 35,000 square feet and is estimated to cost approximately $20 million.

The architect for the project is Helene Karl Architects, Inc., while Castagna Construction out of Danvers is serving as the general contractor. MV Electrical from Acushnet has been appointed as the electrical contractor, and CMS from Marlborough is the owner's project manager.

JME was responsible for the design of new electrical services, lighting, power, security, and fire alarm systems. Here are recent photos from my site observation the other day.

Photos of the new $30 million Catholic school being constructed in Lawrence, MA. This project represents one of the first schools to be built in approximately 50 years. The architect is McClaren Architects from New Hampshire. I am responsible for the electrical engineering, fire alarm, security, and telecommunications design for the project.

The General Contractor is Lee Kennedy Company based in Quincy, MA, and the electrical contractor is Stalker Electric from Woburn, MA. This project has been under design and construction over the past 3-4 years. Below are some photos from my recent site observation.
