Furuno is pleased to introduce the FAP-FU2000 Network Follow‑Up Steering Lever, a rugged, network‑based follow‑up control designed for use with the NavPilot 1000 IMO/Commercial Autopilot.

While the NavPilot 1000 supports traditional analog follow‑up levers, many customers have requested a network‑based solution that provides simple take‑over control and steering feedback directly at the lever. The FAP‑FU2000 addresses this need and is well-suited for bridge wings, secondary steering stations, and maneuvering locations that require quick, confident control.

Here's an at-a-glance look at the FAP-FU2000's key features:

• Instant rudder take‑over control with a single button press.
• Up to five (5) FAP-FU2000 per NavPilot 1000.
• High‑resolution 320 x 240 sunlight‑readable color TFT display showing heading, course, and rudder information.
• Resume Auto or Nav modes directly from any FAP-FU2000.
• Compact design with IPX6 waterproof rating and heavy‑duty metal lever.
• NMEA2000 Certified interface with pre-attached 6-meter drop cable.
• Power draw of 3 LEN (150 mA) on the NMEA2000 network.
