Airxchange® strives to find ways to assist you with making smart energy choices, including improving your energy productivity and efficiency, and lowering your operating cost. Many electric and gas utilities offer generous rebate programs in order to encourage the use of Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV). The reduction in peak load as well as ongoing operating savings combines to help utilities achieve their mandate in encouraging use of energy efficient equipment.

Description

Airxchange, Inc., a growing Rockland-based manufacturer of HVAC products, seeks a talented and energetic Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to aid in the development & repair of its manufacturing equipment and overall maintenance of its facility.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years’ experience in the maintenance & repair of tools & equipment
• 1-3 years’ experience in facility maintenance
• Ability to read blueprints & perform basic shop math
• Basic hand tool experience (screw driver, drill, hammer, etc)
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Maintain proper housekeeping standards within the maintenance area
• Maintain, repair & improve production machinery, fixtures & jigs
• Aid in the overall maintenance of the facility
• Handle additional assignments as required
