🚒 Training That Makes a Difference When Seconds Matter 🚒
AED Essentials owner Chad recently joined the Illinois Firefighter's Association Foundation's Down & Dirty Firefighting Weekend, where he taught “Streetwise: Operational Awareness & Crew Safety for Fire & EMS.”
Designed specifically for today’s firefighters and EMS professionals, this course addresses the realities of responding to unpredictable and potentially volatile environments. Through a focus on crew resource management, situational awareness, and personal safety, participants explored how to recognize potential threats, navigate emotionally charged situations, and keep themselves and their crews safe in dynamic scenes.
The feedback speaks for itself! 👏 Participants highlighted Chad’s extensive knowledge, shared how the course gave them new perspectives on approaching emergency scenes, and even emphasized how valuable this training would be if incorporated into the state’s BOF curriculum.
At AED Essentials, we believe preparing our first responders goes beyond clinical skills. It means equipping them with the awareness, confidence, and tools they need to protect themselves while protecting others.
