West Side Tractor provides equipment and hands-on equipment training to four of the five programs that placed this year. 🚧

These competitions may be the culmination of months of hard work, but West Side’s commitment happens all year long. Our team, led by Beth Bayless, works with schools and career programs across Indiana to provide heavy equipment, training and valuable seat time for students exploring careers in construction.

It’s a significant commitment of equipment, time and resources — and one we believe is worth making. Building the next generation of our workforce starts by giving students the opportunity to experience the industry firsthand. Congratulations to all the students, teachers, industry coaches and construction partners who made this year’s competition possible! 👏 John Deere

🏆We’re proud to share that West Side Tractor has earned the John Deere Onyx Award for 2026, recognizing the top three John Deere Construction & Forestry dealers in North America.

And this one makes FOUR. 💪 Four Onyx Awards are a reflection of the people behind West Side — our employees who show up every day for our customers, our customers who continue to put their trust in us, and a partnership with John Deere that has spanned more than 65 years.

THANK YOU to our incredible employees. This recognition belongs to you. Your hard work, expertise and commitment to taking care of our customers every single day are what continue to set West Side apart. We’re incredibly proud of this team.

Awards are great. But earning them by taking care of customers, supporting the equipment we sell and continuing to raise the bar year after year means even more.

Four-time Onyx. One incredible West Side team. 🖤💛

Five years ago, we shared the video below celebrating West Side Tractor’s 10th year in Indiana. At the time, our message from ownership was simple: we’re here to stay and we’re going to keep investing.

More machines. More field service trucks. More people. New facilities. Renovations. And eventually, a new Indianapolis headquarters.

As a family business, we have the privilege of dreaming and planning not just for the next year, but for the next generation. We think long-term. We put down roots. And we invest with the hope of building something that lasts. It’s pretty surreal when those big plans start becoming reality.

Our new Indianapolis headquarters at I-74 & Post Road is getting close. Doors open this fall. Another chapter in the West Side Tractor legacy is about to begin. Gear up!

🎗️ SEPTEMBER IS PEDIATRIC CANCER AWARENESS MONTH. 🎗️
The yellow ribbons are back up at West Side Tractor.

Every September, we cover the front of our Lisle facility along Ogden Avenue with yellow ribbons and signs to help shine a light on pediatric cancer. Thousands of cars pass our building every day — and if our signs cause even a few people to stop, think, learn or support the fight against childhood cancer, they’re doing their job.

This cause is especially close to the West Side Tractor family. Throughout the year, we’re proud to welcome kids and families from Cal's Angels to West Side Tractor for construction equipment experiences, help support wishes, and use our platform to bring more attention to the realities families face when a child is diagnosed with cancer.

This month, we remember the children we’ve lost, stand with those still fighting, and honor the families walking alongside them.

Go Gold. Spread awareness. Keep fighting for better outcomes for every child. 💛🎗️
