Here at Infinity Power Corp, we are thrilled to invest in the next generation of electrical apprentices, I&E technicians, and engineers. When invited to participate in the Green River High School Work-Based Learning Program, we jumped at the opportunity to mentor young talent.

Zayn Mulinix, a senior at Green River High School, joins our team five days a week. Aspiring to either earn his journeyman license or pursue a college degree in Instrumentation and Electrical technology, Zayn is gaining the hands-on experience and industry exposure needed to confidently chart his career path.

Currently, Zayn is thriving in our panel shop under the mentorship of Austin Christen, an expert panel builder and graduate of Western Wyoming College ’s Electrical & Instrumentation program. Austin notes that Zayn’s deep curiosity and sharp questions keep him on his toes, proving that Zayn is a remarkably quick learner who delivers high-quality work. The mentorship is a dynamic two-way street; Zayn appreciates how Austin continuously challenges and tests his skills.

For Zayn, this program is a vital test drive for his future. He credits his father with sparking his interest in the trade and revealing the abundant opportunities available to skilled electricians. Compared to traditional classroom learning, Zayn finds the hands-on work incredibly rewarding, describing the complex panel builds as "Legos for adults" that leave him feeling both challenged and accomplished.

Beyond technical skills like component identification and building from the ground up, the program instills essential professional habits. Zayn is learning how to craft a resume, communicate professionally, maintain workplace integrity, manage his own timesheet, and submit weekly reflections on his projects.

We are incredibly proud to participate in this impactful program and can’t wait to see where Zayn’s talent and dedication take him when he completes his time with us!

Residential Generator Backup – Rock Springs, WY

Infinity Power recently completed a manual generator transfer system for a local homeowner. The installation provides a safe, permanent connection for the customer’s portable generator while keeping utility and generator power isolated.

After installation, the system was tested under load and checked with thermal imaging before turnover.
