The Model FT-1 tube weld head is a full function (torch travel, arc voltage control (AVC), oscillation and filler wire) orbital weld head designed for production, multi-pass GTAW tube and pipe welding.

This robust, light-weight weld head is designed to operate in the tightest possible areas to weld tube or pipe 1.25 inches or larger with radial clearances as low as 1.5 inches.

Setup is accomplished in seconds with the swing latch clamp. The two-speed travel jog system allows precise torch positioning as well as rapid traverse in order quickly wrap or unwrap the weld cable around the tube. Filler wire is integrated into the system utilizing our unique push/pull wire feed system.

This system is designed to use 2- or 10-pound wire spools, eliminating the frequent spool change-outs and wire cast issues associated with systems utilizing smaller spools.

The entire weld head is water-cooled for continuous use on preheated material. The result is a semi-automatic weld system that will maximize your arc time with the highest quality, high deposition welds possible.

Encompass GMAW Gen II Overlay System.

The Gen II Overlay System is a full function weld system designed for multi-pass GMAW welding of plate surfaces in a box pattern in two configurations, boiler and vessel modes. In boiler mode the system is designed to weld in a vertical application, oscillating horizontally across the weld bead. In vessel mode the system is designed to weld in a horizontal application, oscillating horizontally.

The Encompass system is unlike any other portable overlay system in that the system is designed to perform "fully automatic weld processes" with minimal training.
