We had the opportunity to repair “Pongo” the orangutang statue at Riverbanks Zoo today. The statue was created in 1994 and over the years with all of the pictures taken on it a hole was worn into his leg. This created a safety concern so we came out and brazed the hole over to patch it and bring it back to being a safe spot to take pictures with your family.

After cutting the beams and welding the baseplates back on the GC asked if we would be able to install the columns and beam for them. Called Herc rentals to get a shear wrench for the connecting TC bolts and had them ready to go next day for their framers.

On-site at the new Whataburger in Rock Hill. We needed to shorten the pre-fabbed columns by 5” and weld the base plates back on. Customer needed this done quickly to not slow progress and we were able to have it completed next day.

Sprinkler piping job is moving along well. Fabbing risers and flushing out socket weld runs.

2nd custom flexicon transition for this customer. Other than a few measurements from AutoCAD this was all measured and fit with cardboard and oversized cuts removing metal as needed to get proper fitment. Full purge on the inside while welding the outside and then back weld the inside to prevent material from becoming stuck.
