Our sister company Good Guys Painting and Professional Improvements is hiring. Looking for Deck Carpenters and Subcontractor crews for overflow work.
Good Guys Painting is currently seeking experienced deck building carpenters and subcontracting decking crews for overflow work. If you're passionate about building outdoor living spaces that are both functional and beautiful, we want you on our team. This is a full-time position located in Oakland and Macomb counties.
Responsibilities:
Build and install decks of all types and sizes, ensuring that they meet safety and building codes
Follow project plans and blueprints to ensure the accuracy and quality of the final product
Collaborate with other team members, including project managers and designers, to ensure that project goals are met
Ensure that all materials and equipment are used in a safe and efficient manner
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
1 year minimum contracting/crew labor experience required
Subcontracting crews are welcome to apply, but insurance is required
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to lift heavy materials and operate power tools
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
